Software Automation Designer

Title: The candidate will be responsible for the software and hardware development of the machines.

Main responsibilities:

The figure translates the design specifications by developing an automation system that achieves functional optimization.

•     He translates the non-conformities detected into changes to the functional specifications of the product.
•     It assigns a coding to the single components of the prototype according to the criteria adopted in the company; it associates the relative technical documentation to the components; it takes care of the updating and maintenance of the archives.
•     Participates in the analysis of any changes to the production process related to new design solutions.  
•     He interfaces with suppliers in relation to the collaboration model determined by the technical director.
•     It prepares the project documentation.  
•     He constantly reports the progress of the work to the Head of Software Automation.

Place of work: Castel Guelfo (BO) with occasional national/foreign transfer.

Personal characteristics: Strong passion for programming and automation. Precision, analytical skills, strong sense of priorities and deadlines. Attitude to work in a team.

Skills required:
Training background in Automation Engineering preferred if masterly.
Preferable diploma at the Technical Institute.
Passion for programming.

Languages: English spoken and written compulsory at a good level.

Age: 30-35 years old
Experience: 3/5 years in software design with particular reference to automatic packaging machines.

The profile is completed by knowledge of Motion Control, good command of the English language and interpersonal skills.

Preferred title: mastery of the B&R system.
