Window Stripe, Visual Control
The Window Stripe (also known as View Stripe) is a transparent vertical window obtained through co-extrusion in plastic containers. It allows immediate visualization of the content level and is particularly useful for industrial products such as lubricants, motor oils, and detergents.
Why Window Stripe in Blow Molding?
The vew stripe is a transparent window integrated into plastic containers through co-extrusion during the extrusion blow molding process. It enables easy visualization of the fill level, a feature especially useful for products such as lubricants, oils, and detergents.
It is created by incorporating a strip of transparent material into the parison, improving user interaction with the product and making it easier to monitor the remaining quantity.
Target sectors:
Detergents sector
Manufacturers of detergents and household cleaning products.
Lubricants sector
Companies specialized in packaging for industrial lubricants.
Motor oil sector
Manufacturers of bottles and jerrycans for motor oil.

Integrated visual solution.
View Stripe technology allows immediate visualization of the product level, facilitates accurate dosing, and improves inventory management, making packaging more functional, safer, and more appreciated by operators and consumers.
View Stripe: 3 key advantages
The window stripe allows direct monitoring of the content level without opening the container.
The visual level indication helps operators dose correctly and enables more efficient inventory management.
The view stripe transforms a standard container into a highly functional one, also enhancing perceived quality.
Blowing stages with View Stripe
Window Stripe, how it works.
The Window Stripe unit integrates an additional extruder connected to the main plasticizing head, creating a vertical stripe of neutral polyethylene incorporated into the parison during the extrusion phase.
The stripe remains visible on the container wall, forming a vertical window (Window Stripe) for checking the product level.
The system offers high production flexibility and can be easily activated or deactivated, allowing the production of containers with or without the window according to production needs.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
It is a transparent vertical window integrated into the plastic container through co-extrusion, allowing the content level to be viewed without opening the bottle.
Transparent or neutral polyethylene (LDPE or HDPE) is typically used, compatible with the container body, to ensure transparency and good layer adhesion.
An auxiliary extruder feeds transparent resin into the parison during co-extrusion, creating the visual stripe integrated into the container.
It can be applied to both single-layer and multilayer containers, with the addition of a small vertical extruder on the extrusion head.
The typical average thickness of the View Stripe is 3–4 mm.
It is particularly suitable for lubricants, detergents, motor oils, and chemical products, where it is important to easily monitor the remaining level.
Yes. The system is designed to activate or deactivate the auxiliary extruder that creates the stripe, allowing flexible production of both versions without line modifications.
