OPC UA Data Exchange is an Ethernet-based connection system between the extrusion blow-molding machine and the customer’s company network. Techne configures both the hardware and software components to enable real-time reading of production data such as: production parameters, specific alarms, line efficiency and inefficiency times.
The goal is to provide accurate and up-to-date KPIs that can be directly exported to the customer’s database, ensuring continuous monitoring and improvement of production efficiency.

The OPC UA protocol.
The protocol used for data transmission is OPC UA (Open Platform Communications Unified Architecture), an open and platform-independent standard designed to ensure interoperability.
By using this Ethernet-based protocol, efficient, secure, and structured data exchange is enabled between the PLC of the Techne blow-molding machine and the customer’s SCADA system, i.e. an industrial control system for data supervision and acquisition.
